I’m Ann, she/her.
MA, LLP, RYT
Therapy is not about fixing you. It is about creating space for what is already within you to emerge.
To rediscover who you are. To remember who you have always been. To explore who you can be.
I AM A RELATIONAL THERAPIST—I AM NOT A SILENT OBSERVER OR BLANK-SLATE.
We build our relationship together. Trust and safety are not assumed—they are cultivated.
MY LENS
I practice from cultural humility. It is impossible for me to know everything about you or your lived experience.
I continue to learn outside of session—through research, consultation and ongoing education.
I am comfortable not knowing. I will ask. I will listen. I will seek to understand.
Your identity, your story—your context matters.

“
Ann brings a humanistic approach, along with genuine warmth, attunement, and a nonjudgmental way of being with others. She’s committed to her own depth work and ongoing growth, and it comes through in how she shows up.
— Becky SIden, LMSW, CDWF, E-RYt (she/her/hers)
I believe in collective liberation.
Your healing does not happen in isolation—it reverberates outward. When one of us grows in truth and strength, it creates ripples.
MY STORY
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a CPA and elementary school teacher. I followed paths that made sense, that were logical, that were expected.
And yet, something felt incomplete.
Through my own therapy, yoga and meditation practice, I softened. I listened. I allowed myself to question who I was supposed to be.
That journey led me to a Masters in Clinical Psychology, through the Michigan School of Psychology, and to today—to offering work grounded in purpose, connection and service.
As an adoptee, I grew up understanding difference. I’ve since learned how much we share in common: the longing for belonging, love and meaning.
I am a therapist and researcher. A yoga student and teacher. A mom. And so much more.
I believe softness is not weakness. I believe strength can be gentle. I believe even in the dark, light persists.
What clients are saying
“
Ann creates a judgement-free environment that allows me to feel understood and heard. I feel energized, self-aware and prepared after each of our sessions.
“
Ann balances pushing me to reflect on things that I may not want to see while also never making me feel uncomfortable.
“
Ann provides a safe, validating, and comfortable space to allow me to be fully open and honest. Being able to be open and honest allows the real work of growth to happen.
